Oats Considered as one of the healthiest food on earth specially for weight loss has many varieties and form. Today we will try to explain the various type of oats available and how they are different from each other. Also I will include a small portion on how to perfectly cook broken or steel Cut Oats.
Ingredients to make simple Broken Oats :- (serve 3-4)
1 cup broken Oats
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 1/4 cup water
Salt to taste
Method to make healthy Oats for weight loss.
Throughly wash the broken Oats in filtered water.
In a pressure cook heat 1 tsp olive oil, add 1 tsp Cumin seeds
Once the cumin seeds starts to crackle add washed Oats and roast for few minutes keep stirring
Add one and a forth cups of water
Cover the pressure cooker with the lid and cook for 3-4 whistle
( this Is a very basic way of cooking broken Oats you can store these cooked oats in your fridge for next 3-4 days to make Oats salad, Poha, Upma, etc )
