People often expect perfection out of their favorite athletes, what people often forget is that athletes are human too.
When athletes are focused on winning, they don’t have a lot of time or attention to give to a broken strap or tear.

SO in the middle of a game, things that regular folks would notice go untreated…and get worse.
The results are these wardrobe slip-ups that stand the test of time. Let’s at least hope that these unlucky athletes won their contests to offset the embarrassment they feel after these goofs.
“Keep your eye on the ball”…

…is a sports cliche, and you can see what happens when someone follows it too literally.
A tackle’s a tackle…
…but you get the feeling that if this Baltimore Raven could do it again, he’d attempt a less unpleasant method!
Or at the very least, he’d bring the Febreeze with him next time.
Football player butt seems like one of the worst smells imaginable.
A small, but important, goof.
Uh, when you’re designing the team’s uniforms, don’t put the flag upside down like they did on these kits for the Philippines.
Design fails get even worse than this though…
This was all intentional, somehow.
I mean, how many people approved these things to this point? Someone must have it out for these cyclists!
And believe it or not, these uniforms were designed by a woman!
Major fashion faux pas right there.
Ricky Berens gave a little too much away at the 2009 World Championships.
How would you even tell him? Like “Hey dude, your butt is hanging out.”
That’s a conversation no one wants to have.
“Sure is getting drafty in here…”
I wonder how long it was until he felt a draft or someone notified him that a full moon was out.

I guess when you’re in the middle of a horse race, the best you can do is stay focused and deal with it later.
It’s not like you can call a timeout, which is more than you can say for this next one!

I always wonder how someone can screw up such a simple task? I mean, are they doing it on purpose?
Plus, in baseball they have so much time, they could’ve sewed him a new uniform before the end of the game.
I mean, baseball players have enough time during the game to do whatever the hell this is. The equipment manager can sew a few letters on.
Serena’s fashion choice…
…is a little odd. Maybe it was strategically meant to distract her opponent?
And the ref? And the fans? And the viewers at home?
‘Cause it definitely worked.
Bobsled + Rip = Chilly

I bet the victim, UK bobsledder Gillian Cooke, was in a big hurry to jump into her sled.
Speaking of drafts…
Russian figure skater showed the world more than she intended to with this unfortunate slip. A lot of these keep happening in cold weather situations, which seems even more unfortunate.
This bobsledder had his malfunction behind the scenes, but…

…he wasn’t too shy to share it on social media. Maybe try a child’s large next time?
You know, now that we think about it…
That bobsledder looks kind of like Zach Galifianakis’ Italian cousin.
Surf champ Stephanie Gilmore…

Water polo is surprisingly violent.

So it’s no wonder with all the grabbing and flailing that there are a ton of wardrobe slips caught on camera above and below the surface.
And now for another butt…
Never in my life have I been happier to not be a professional athlete and have cameras following my every move.
Because something ain’t right…
Fortunately, she was able to, ahem, “put her finger on it.”
Thank you very much.
The Lingerie Football League was pretty much designed with wardrobe malfunctions in mind…
…so don’t be too surprised by them. I would even dare say that they’re not all that “accidental.”
In 2017, marathon runner Jozef Urban suffered a wardrobe malfunction when his penis flopped out of his running shorts.
Who needs pants? This is motocross!
(Is this actually motocross? I’ll be honest. I don’t actually know. But I do know it’s a sport, and there’s a wardrobe malfunction involved. So that’s why it’s on the list.)
Cheerleading is definitely a sport, though. Especially when this next athlete does it…
Actually, this is a pretty brilliant method of cheerleading.
I think all cheerleaders should adopt this fashion-forward performance strategy.
This is another brilliant strategy. Put your shirt on backward and maybe you’ll trick the opposing team that you’re on their side! What could possibly go wrong?
The Getty caption for this image reads: “Sweden’s Henrik Harlaut competes in the Men’s Freestyle Skiing Slopestyle finals at the Rosa Khutor Extreme Park during the Sochi Winter Olympics.”
I just love how they worded that. “Competes.” Sure.
“We need to put the flag of Singapore somewhere on these swimsuits…but where? Never mind! I’ve figured out the perfect solution.”
I do not understand the game of Rugby at all, but I’m pretty sure this isn’t how it’s meant to be played.
I could totally be wrong, though.
